- Russell Petch Added February 02, 2023★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My mother died recently and as an executor of the estate, we needed to close her account and transfer the money to our lawyer. We were told this process would take a couple of weeks. We made a quick effort to sign all the necessary papers at the branch. It happens that these were not sent to the relevant department of the bank in the city. When we followed this up, we were told that the documents were still at the branch.
This is unacceptable and we will be transferring all of business to another financial institution. It is a shame that the bank cannot conduct its business with us as quickly as it can facilitate money laundering ( see the Austrac investigation).
Also, please stop trying to sell services such as financial planning through the teller. We know what happened at the Chatswood branch.
